Campitello di Fassa, which is just a short distance from Canazei, has created an elite clientele over the last few years, thanks to the opening of numerous prestigious hotels. In fact, the highest concentration of four-star hotels, offering the utmost comfort in terms of hospitality is to be found in Campitello di Fassa. The town is overlooked by the spires of Sassolungo, which make Campitello such an unmistakeable location. In winter the Col Rodella Ski Area can be reached from the village in just a few minutes using the modern and roomy cable car. The Col Rodella Ski Area is directly linked to the nearby Belvedere Ski Area as well as to Sella Ronda. In summer, Campitello offers a host of opportunities for hiking: from a tour of Sassolungo, to the enchanting Val Duron.

Special mention should go to the sports centre in the district of Ischia, close to the cable car. As well as the different sporting activities (from climbing the largest artificial rock wall in the valley to football pitches and tennis courts) the latest sporting facility - added in recent years - is the golf course.
